Economic Management

(R) Second Public Expenditure Management Technical Assistance: The objective is to improve the efficiency and transparency of public financial and human resources management. The project has been postponed until end of March 2008 due to the scheduled local election and pending status negotiation in Kosovo. Environmental Assessment Category C. US$ 5.0 (IDA). Environment and Natural Resources Management

Finance

Financial Sector Technical Assistance (H341-0-KOS): The objective is to enhance the Central Banking Authority of Kosovo (CBAK)’s capacity to oversee the financial system’s stability and its development in Kosovo. The project will focus mostly on strengthening the capacity of CBAK to supervise banks and non-bank financial institutions (in particular insurance companies and pension funds).
