Objective: |
As a sequel to the
existing option and feasibility studies in the context of
the SYNERGY exercise and specific project studies, further
south-eastern European region-wide analytical work needs to be
carried out to justify decisions relating to transmission
interconnections, storage options and rehabilitation of
existing installations |

Description: |
The study would provide a detailed
review of existing recent studies, give a perspective of
likely trends in regional gas consumption, evaluate the
maturity of projects and their ranking according to specific
criteria, and make recommendations on essential complementary
sector-related measures. Specific recommendations on regional
gas storage options and exploitation of local reserves are
also foreseen. |
