Air Traffic
Infrastructure Regional Study |

Objective: |
The proposals for
airport and air traffic management investments in the region
raise issues of planning appropriate capacity extensions on a
regional scale. A regional study would bring a perspective
which is lacking in purely national proposals. |

Description: |
The study would assess
(i) demand for air transport (passenger & cargo)
with origin or destination in the region
(ii) aircraft movements including enroute demand in the region
(iii) implications for airport and air traffic infrastructure
on a regional basis
(iv) resulting strategic options taking various scenarios into
account, and priorities for investment
(v) implications for airport operation and air traffic
management on a human resource and institutional level,
including all aspects of project development, implementation
and operation
(vi) recommendations for required training components |
