severely damaged during the war. Operation of the power system

sharing of spinning reserves. The main feasibility study shows
large net economic benefits and acceptable financial benefits. |

Major Sector/Project Issues: |
Improved co-operation between
the three power utilities in BiH. Co-ordination with power
utility in Croatia. Clarification whether other rehabilitation
works of the power system should be included, e.g. 220 and 110
kV lines and substations.
Further actions are needed by the beneficiaries to move
towards cost-recovery, and power sector restructuring issues
need to be further addressed. |
