Interpretation
Interpretation will be available into and out of English,
French, German, Albanian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Romanian, Croatian,
Serbian and Bosnian. If delegations require other interpretation
they will have to provide their own interpreters.
Participation
Delegations in the main Conference room will be limited to the
following numbers:
each country will be permitted 4 representatives;
each international organization will be permitted 2
representatives.
One additional space per delegation may be made available for an
interpreter – please inform the Conference Secretariat when
providing details of the composition of delegations. Any further
delegates can not be guaranteed seats in the main room, and may have
to be seated in an overflow area.
Names and full contact details - mailing address, telephone
and fax numbers and e-mail address - must be sent to the
Conference Secretariat at the latest by February 28, 2000.
This should include the name and details of a liaison officer
who will act as the primary contact.
Each delegate will be issued with a personal badge. For security
reasons, participants will be required to wear badges at all times.
Access to the conference room will be strictly limited to those
participants with badges.
Statements/Documentation
As time for discussion during the Conference will be strictly
limited, delegations are invited to submit lengthier written
statements which will be made available during the conference. Where
possible, statements should be sent, preferably in electronic form,
to the Conference Secretariat at least 3 working days before the
conference.
The Conference organisers will also be able to distribute other
documentation submitted by delegations. Again, such documentation
should be sent to the Conference Secretariat at least three working
days in advance of the conference.
